Default Disciplinary advice needed

I'm in need of some advice,

this all stems around misuse of facebook and has been going on since february 2nd when i was first invited to an investigation

I had a picture of myself in uniform on my facebook account (visible to friends only)

I also swore on my status- at no time did i mention my work - the only link to my employer was a photo of myself and my late colleague in uniform.

I was invited to an investigation meeting in which it stated
'misuse of a social networking site in december which has the potential to bring the trust into disrepute'

Upon attending the investigation they then started to go thru other things which were in august (still not directly related to my work)

my question is are they able to do this? I have some little thing in my mind telling me that they have to give you 24hours prior notice of an investigation?
so does springing this on me on the day mean it is inadmissable?

The other question i have is it acceptable to have it going on this long?
I have genuinely been stressed over it all - and only yesterday did i get a date for the disciplinary hearing - 27th august, is there a statute of limitations on these sorts of things

Thanks for any advice
Its really appreciated

Default HR/Disciplinary Advice needed please?

i am a driver at a company and recently i have been made to go on deliveries on my own which is agaisnt company policy. I have raised the issue with my manager and was told sometimes you have to go on your own if it cant be helped. This puts me myself danger and also the valubles and cash i handle when out on the road. one morning my team leader tried to make me go alone and i spoke to the supervisor who then stopped the delivery and spoke to the manager to help sort it out. he ignored what was being said and didnt do anything to stop it just said what can you do after i heard this i took the delivery as i had no choice. that day items were stolen and i am now facing a disciplinary hearing for gross misconduct. i got my letter for my hearing and was only given copys of the statements from myself and the supervisor. i have not received statements from the manager, the team leader or statements from witnesses that heard what happened, am i entitled to these? when i asked for the other statements from my manager he said it's ok he's admitted he did wrong so you don't need them, i asked again and was told the same thing? is this right . also could i get sacked for this as gross misconduct only happened because my managers failed to comply with procedures which are there to protect this happening?

buy mode in China is not optimistic about the prospects for innovation and therefore abandoned factory site plan of domestic investment. But we should also see Groupon from November 2008
