Default Another reason why you should get your staff PMI

Private medical insurance has been seen as a good benefit for your staff and your company because it cuts out your staff's sick time, specifically when they are relying on the NHS. Now here's another reason: NHS personnel are rude.

A study showed that 2/3s of NHS operating staff reported being victims of aggression fro nurses over the past six months. Also, half of them reported that the aggression came fro surgeons!

Do not underestimate the damage that rudeness can give your business. It can make your employees less productive and lose concentration!

This also goes for staff who just witness rudeness and not become a victim.

I think the more pressing matter that we all should know is the planned cuts at the NHS that would entail the rationing of common operations like cataract surgery and knee replacements. Not only that, the NHS also plans to cut their services for the terminally ill and even closing up some elderly homes.

Oh my, that is really bad news! I've also heard that there are plans to reduce acute hospital beds including for the mentally ill. They are also implementing measures to reduce the number of people who would be attended to when these people are in an emergency or had accidents!

I have heard other cuts as well, including those in maternity and pediatric care. What is more, the NHS will be laying off a lot of its personnel. This would make the NHS even more delayed in diagnosing and treating diseases!

But I thought that the government was going to protect basic health services?

I think that the NHS has a lot of problems with funds. And these cuts are designed to save the agency a lot of money, at the expense of patients!
