Default HR Strategy Help

Hi all,

I just needed some advice, i have recently joined an upcoming retail company,( coming up to a year).

The company retails with a few outlets across the UK and we are now planning at expanding to europe within the next 3-5 years, starting off with 2 maybe 3 outlets across europe.

I have just been given the task to produce a small presentation to some HR Managers on how this idea could be successfully implemented within the company. I am currently gathering some ideas and wanted some advice and your views on:

What sort of Strategic HR models or theories you would recommend for an organisation looking at planning their future? Also is their any proven research on these models i could use to justify my idea, after i have linked them to the organisation?

Look forward to your views and thought on this, all help is greatly appreciated so then atleast i can then start linking these views or models to the company to see if they would apply or not.

Default HR Strategy

Most managers wait far too long before thinking about strategy implementation. They finish their strategy sessions, and only then consider the question of implementation. This is a mistake. By waiting until after their strategy sessions, they miss earlier opportunities to encourage successful implementation. To encourage successful implementation of your strategy, take specific steps, before, during and after your strategy sessions.

As businesses grow they create new and larger challenges which again emphasizes the need to be good at strategy implementation.Solicit input from your employees. Get your employees involved in the planning process.

As the HR strategy motivate workers to assess themselves and to talk about their own strong points. Your perspective of an personnel and the worker's perspective of himself should match fairly well. Otherwise, it's a caution indication.Be sincere about poor efficiency, but not intense. Papers your findings in writing.
