Default Concerns about lack of training

I am in HR and an employee talked to me about him not being provided the proper training to do his job. Any suggestions on what needs to be done?

Don't take it lightly. Being in HR, you should know that not providing people with the proper training to perform well will may cause the relevant department, and even the organisation, to suffer from poor performance. Review the organisation's policy on training. Talk to that employee's manager and discuss the issue being raised.

You can also talk to other employees, especially the older ones, about the previous trainings they had. You can make a survey of sorts and make sure that the lack of training is not an issue with many others who have chosen to keep silent about it.
