To be honest, I am flabbergasted at how some people are just racist! They don't know that they would be up for more racism in the recent years. I have just found out that net migration to the country has risen by 20% last year. While this number is mainly students coming here to study, it's still an indicator that the job market will have more diversity in the coming years.

I agree with you. What is more, and this is sad, migrant workers have a better skills set, work ethics and knowledge than British graduates. I found this out in a Guardian report just a few days ago.

Yup, I've read that too. It only means that more and more companies are going to hire minorities to join their staff. If you don't address racial discrimination, you are only asking for trouble!

Isn't that why they wanted to put a cap on migrant workers? Because they say that people from other countries are taking the jobs that are supposed to be for the Brits?

Well, that is racist and self-defeating. If UK companies cannot bring the workers they need here, they will have to outsource their operations, or worst move their operations to other countries.

I think that it should be noted that this doesn't only apply to race. If you discriminate against people it's not only illegal but you are missing out on top talents who could contribute to your organisation just because they are female, black, a muslim, or any other criteria!
